Monday 10/28:
1. Read the handout What is an Empire and complete the task on the bottom.
2. Open note quiz on the Persian empire. You will have to complete the back of the empire handout in class tomorrow. You may prepare tonight for tomorrow's quiz. Basically, you have to prove that Persia was empire. Be sure to look at your notes on Cyrus and Darius and the reading about the customs of Persia.
Tuesday 10/29:
1. China questions #1-4 due tomorrow. (not period 1, you did not get a handout).

2. Pick a "side" and then create a thesis statement.

1. Complete the Assyrian handout using textbook pages 75-78. Make sure you read each section and take good notes! At least 5 FACTS for each section. You will need this for class tomorrow. You DO NOT have to do the back of paper.
